Fronting era defining heavyweights such as ‘Love me Do’ and ‘Twist and Shout’, Please Please Me was released in 1963 as the band’s debut album. Featuring both the album artwork, shot by surrealist photographer Angus McBean, and the famous four this 1:76 scale diecast model is highly detailed with a cream and red livery, combining two staples in British pop culture.

Released in December 1965, Rubber Soul is the sixth studio album by The Beatles. Recorded in only four weeks in October 1965, the album topped the album charts in both Britain and the United States on release and is considered a key touchstone in the development of psychedelia.

Showcasing cover artwork far and away from their previous offerings, with minimal logo content and simplistic band portrait, ‘The Beatles for Sale’ came as the fourth studio album from the band. Melancholy and paired back in design, this 1:76 diecast homage to the record features a striking black and green livery.

Released on the 26th May 1967, Sgt. Peppers Lonely Heart Clubs Band featured on the album of the same name and introduced the fictional band whos songs feature on the album. The Album, considered as a concept album, featured tracks such as 'With a Little Help from My Friends' and 'Lucy in The Sky With Diamonds', with the albums tracks flowing seamlessly together in the fictional world of the band.

Released in November 1968, ‘The Beatles’ – also referred to as ‘The White Album’ - is the ninth studio album by The Beatles. Created in direct contrast to the vivid cover art of ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’, the plain white sleeve of the album contains no graphics or text beyond the band’s name embossed on the cover. Later special edition releases feature some more colourful artwork.

Released as a single in the UK on the 20th March 1964, ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ received a fantastic reaction from fans and music critics, topping the Billboard Hot 100 for five consecutive weeks in the US. To immortalise a band loved and celebrated throughout the world, this 1:36 scale diecast Taxi includes single artwork with Japanese text and fully decorated livery.

Released on the 24th November 1967, ‘Hello, Goodbye’ acted as The Beatles’ last single of the year, coming as the final offering from the band after an apparent transition in musical style. Gone were the simple, innocent bops of ‘I want To Hold Your Hand’ and ‘Love Me Do’, in favour of a sound and style which would define the seventies, and change the course of musical history.

Released on August 26th, 1968, as a single, 'Hey Jude' held the record as the longest song ever to top the UK singles chart when it made its debut. Written by Paul McCartney, the single release of 'Hey Jude' featured 'Revolution' as a B-Side.

Released as a single in 1963, ‘I want to Hold Your Hand’ is arguably one of the band’s most iconic tracks. Visiting Japan’s capital, Tokyo, in 1966 on a tour commonly referred to as the ‘Beatles Typhoon’, the band soon captured the minds and ears of the Japanese people. To immortalise such an era defining tour, this 1:36 scale taxi features the single artwork and colour scheme, along with ‘I Want To Hold Your Hand’ in Japanese text.

Released on the 15th March 1968, ‘Lady Madonna’ featured as the A-Side of the band’s first single of the year. Reportedly inspired by images taken of nursing mothers in Vietnam, the single came during the height of the Vietnam War, and chronicled a week in the life of a Mother.

Released on March 7th, 1970, as a single and later as the title track of The Beatles' twelve and final studio album, 'Let it Be' was written and performed by Paul McCartney and was the final single released before he announced his departure from the world famous band.

Release on the 22nd November 1968, ‘Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da’ was another of Paul McCartney’s passion projects, and showcased his admiration and enjoyment of Reggae. Although gaining recognition and extreme popularity in the early 70s, ‘Ob-La Di, Ob-La-Da’ showcased the infamous reggae beat and brought it into mainstream radio.

Released on July 12th, 1963, as an EP in the UK, The Beatles' rendition of Phil Medley and Burt Russell's 'Twist and Shout' entered the EP chart at number one and stayed in the top spot for an incredible twenty one weeks.

Released in 1969 as the soundtrack to the motion picture of the same name, Yellow Submarine came as the band’s tenth studio album, and included the previously released single ‘All you Need is Love’. Psychedelic and vivid in decoration the livery on this 1:36 scale taxi is complete with film character imagery, and also includes a depiction of the Japanese release artwork.

Corgi’s association with The Beatles began in 1969 with the production of the very first Yellow Submarine replica. Last released by Corgi in 2006, the spirited reproduction is back to (metaphorically!) twist and shout in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the release of the film. Here comes the bright and beautiful vessel in which all four band members come together again. Bedford QLD 4X4 general service cargo truck, Service Number 105220, RAF 2nd Tactical Air Force, 84 Group, Gold Beach, Normandy, 6th June 1944 With well over 50,000 units produced, the Bedford QL series of 3 ton 4x4 utility trucks were some of the most heavily produced British vehicles of the Second World War and were required to fulfil a wide variety of essential communications and supply roles. The ability to move, supply and equip military forces is critical to the success of any campaign and by their nature, vehicles used to support this must be reliable, flexible and available in great numbers. The Bedford QL satisfied all of these needs and whether it was pulling a Bofors anti- aircraft gun or serving as a signals vehicle, it proved to be the backbone of the British Army. The RAF 2nd Tactical Airforce (2TAF) was formed on 1st June 1943 as HQ Tactical Air Force from Army Co-operation Command in connection with preparations to train to invade Europe a year later. It took units from both Fighter Command and Bomber Command in order to form a force capable of supporting the Army in the field. Bomber Command provided light bombers, Fighter Command was split into the Air Defence of Britain retaining fighter units for home defence, and No.83 Group and No.84 group operating aircraft, and No.85 Group controlling ground based units.
